My other Sites

Here is the collection of my other websites. Click on the name and it will take you there. You will find on each site a page like this so you can move on easily.

Impressions of India and Nepal

In 1988 and 2000 I had spent extended work holidays in India and Nepal.  During the second journey, I kept a travel diary.  It took many years to have the stories transferred to the computer and even longer, before publishing them on a website.

The stories tell about local details of history and traditions, events and thoughts which came to me.  For those, who engage with people and country on their travels, know what I talk about.

The Wondrous Adventures of an artistic Ingeneer.
This blog is about my adventures working as ingeneer. The reason for starting this particular blog is that I have written about many ingeneering topics, which do not fit in any of my other blogs.

Kalsrua Gschwäzgebabble

Zur Erhaltung der Karlsruher Mundart… for the upholding and up-keeping of my home dialect.
Something not for everyone. Hopefully, I will be able to invite my locals to participate in this.

Oma sprichwörtlich… Oma proverbial

A collection of my Grandmother’s Proverbs and others

My Grandmother was full of proverbs. As a boy, I thought all grownups would talk this way, but later, when I was around thirteen, I realised the special quality of this kind of talking and often planned writing down Oma’s proverbs. In 2014 I started, long after I had become a grandfather, an Opa,

Sapient Words

Moments, when my Mind sparkled
A collection of saying I have been inspired to put into words, since 1990, about 200. My sayings are reflections of feelings and impressions in the way I experienced the world, then. Then they are true for me. I reserve the right to change my mind at any moment without prior warning, which does not make them less true.

Filosofies inspired and instigated from realms where the mind does not dare to wander
Wazit all about, Alfie? My friends and I often wonder about this question and over a coffee or a bottle of red, sometimes, we come up with some ‘plausible’ thoughts. I am the one, who writes them up. They may not be in line with ‘currently’ accepted science, weltanschauung or what our leaders want to hear or want us to believe…

Tickled Tango Tunes

FREE Tango Tunes, which I have gently dusted from the wear of time.
How often have you searched for a particular piece of Tango music and once you found it there was no way of downloading it without revealing your Grandmother’s maiden name and her bank card number.

There is a German version of Tickled Tango Tunes:

Tadellose Tango Töne

Tango Musik, umsonst, sanft entstaubt von Verschleiß der Zeit.
